Fleece
A material made from polyester (although some are manufactured from recycled materials), which has a few advantages over, say, a cotton sweatshirt. Fleeces tend to be lighter in weight, and better at transporting sweat vapor away from the wearer’s body; additionally, fleeces dry faster than cotton. Some fleeces are more wind-resistant than cotton; indeed, some are windproof, using layers of polyurethane or another synthetic material to achieve the wind-blocking ability.
